Agriculture in the Classroom: Delaware Agricultural Issues Incorporating the Food Land & People Curriculum

This Cluster will use the Food Land & People Agricultural and Environmental Curriculum as a base to accompany instruction and experiences which address two key Delaware Agricultural issues: land use and nutrient management. Topic area will be addressed through instruction by curriculum specialists and subject matter experts in the fields of nutrient management and land use. Instruction will include a field trip to a palletizing plant. The availability of credible, current biological and technological materials and experts will also provide multiple opportunities for networking and resource creations, in terms of both human and material resources.
